On November 14, 2015, we held the 9th Nichiden no Mori event on land adjacent to last year's activity. More than 40 employees from our head office, the West Logistics Center, the Processing Center, and branches and sales offices (Shiga, Sakai, Kobe, Himeji, Shikoku, Fukuyama, Hiroshima, and Komaki) took part, some for the first time. Amidst unstable weather conditions, the volunteers spent two hours cutting branches and thinning trees under guidance from staff of local governments and the forestry cooperative.
This year's Nichiden no Mori gathering once again proved valuable in forging close ties with the community.
