Nichiden has the following policies regarding operation of the company's official social media accounts and the use of the social media accounts of its employees. Through these social media accounts, the company strives to promote mutual understanding and trust via communication with all stakeholders.

With regards to the use of social media, we abide by relevant laws and we take a sincere stance based on our charter of corporate behavior.
We respect basic human rights and we do not make abusive, discriminatory, or exclusive remarks against certain individuals or groups, or against people based on their views, religion, or political affiliation.
We do not disclose stakeholder information, confidential company information, or insider information.
We respect third-party intellectual property and we handle it appropriately to avoid infringing on other's rights.
We always post information in a responsible manner, because we understand that information posted on social media can be accessed by anyone instantaneously, that it cannot be completely erased once it is posted, and that we cannot predict the extent of influence of this information.
To users of social media
The information posted on the social media accounts of Nichiden and its employees may not necessarily be official company announcements or reflect the official views of the company. Official announcements and official views of Nichiden are posted on the company's website and through press releases.
Nichiden cannot reply to all comments posted on its social media accounts.
