Clear skies blessed the 7th Nichiden no Mori event on November 15, 2014. The day attracted over 70 volunteers, some taking part for the first time, from the Nichiden head office and branches and sales offices (Kyoto, Higashi-osaka, Sakai, Kobe, Himeji, Shikoku, Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Komaki, Okazaki, and Toyohashi). On land adjacent to last year's event, the participants spent two hours cutting branches and thinning trees under guidance from staff of local governments and the forestry cooperative.
This year's Nichiden no Mori gathering once again proved valuable in forging close ties with the community.
